Because let’s be honest, we all refer back to these fashion bloggers on Instagram when we want to to update our look, vibe, and life in general. These fashion bloggers inspire me on many levels and do so much more than solely posting pictures of their outfits.
What is a Blogger & Why are They Important?
A blogger to me is someone who has an opinion and something to say. A blogger is a fearless business woman with a platform of her own to share her highly valuable opinion. These women have broken barriers and flipped the hierarchy of fashion on it’s head.
These women are consulting with brands around the world to push for change and to hold them accountable for the benefit of the industry, planet, and consumer. Talk about fearless.
1. Camille Charriere
I’ve developed somewhat of an obsession with Camille in the past few months. I was first exposed to her while watching Alexa Chung’s French Fashion video on Youtube. Camille walked Alexa through her closet and spoke about French fashion and how to look tres chic without trying, you know, the French way.
Camille is no-doubt one of the most iconic fashion bloggers on Instagram.
Camille studied law and worked in finance in London. After quickly realizing she hated finance, she started her blog, Camille over the Rainbow, as a side hustle and a way to escape her not-so-glamorous finance job. She quickly became known for her opinion on bloggers and brand behavior. She’s a huge advocate for sustainability and investing in statement pieces, which is one of my main goals for 2022. Camille also has a op-ed style podcast with wonderful guests called Fashion No Filter.
Not to mention, her style is the epitome of effortlessly chic French fashion.
On a final note, if you’re looking for Great Gatsby meets modern style muse wedding inspiration, Camille just got married. The photos speak for themselves. Oh, and the multiple Vogue features on her wedding looks.

2. Alexa Chung
Opinionated model turned blogger & fashion consultant, Alexa Chung has the key to the city when it comes to the behind-the-scenes of the fashion industry, literally.
I found Alexa when I was trying to figure out how to start my handbag brand, Vogelle. She had YouTube videos on how to start a fashion brand as well as many interviews of fashion designers around Europe. I found her content fascinating and very educational.
Alexa has created a clear and unique niche for herself in the industry. From realizing early that her opinion mattered and that it was something she wanted to share with the world, she pivoted from her successful modeling career and became contributing editor at British Vogue. She quickly became a trendsetter for women around the world and a muse for some of the most coveted fashion houses.

3. Aimee Song
Have you ever heard of a blog called Song of Style? If you haven’t heard of it, you’ve seen it.
Aimee Song was one of the early bloggers who were influencing before influencing was a thing. Actually, every woman on this list was a part of that movement. She was also one of the first fashion bloggers on Instagram that used her platform as a business extension of her blog.
Aimee effortlessly blends the carefree style of LA with Paris chic as she galivants around the world covering every major fashion week and collaborating with high profile brands worldwide.
So far, she has created a highly successful blog, Song of Style, published two books, created an amazing YouTube channel centered around fashion and lifestyle, and has an exclusive clothing collaboration with Revolve.
I love following Aimee because, like Alexa, she lets us in on what it’s like to run a fashion brand, travel the world, and manage teams. She’s just a cool girl, period. I love her relaxed vibe and she has earned everything she has accomplished so far. Still down to earth and obsessed with fashion to its core. You can tell everything she does it authentic and I love that about her.
5. Chiara Ferragni
An Italian icon. The OG blogger. Business mogul. Chiara Ferragni paved the way for most bloggers and has turned the value of her opinion into a multi-million dollar empire in Italy and beyond.
The author of the blog called The Blonde Salad, Chiara Ferragni started her blog in 2009 and quickly rose up to become one of the most influential bloggers in the world.
Ferragni launched her personal brand in 2013 which became extremely popular in Italy and abroad. Her signature “eye” logo is recognizable around the world. If you are ever in Milan, Italy, be sure to stop in Chiara’s flagship store near Porta Garibaldi!
Because Chiara Ferragni pursued her blog and created a large community of trusted readers, she opened countless doors for herself in the industry. Her blog and shoe collection even became a cast study at Harvard Law School!
Ferragni now sits on the board of directors at Tod’s. The CEO of Tod’s credits her “knowledge of the world of young people” as one of the main reasons she was selected for this role.
5. Leonie Hanne
The peak of elegant and luxurious style. German-born Leonie Hanne launched Ohh Couture in 2014, and the rest is history.

Leonie has a background in business, fashion textiles, and fashion consulting. She credits her strategic business mindset as the reason for her success. The growth of her blog and platform is no coincidence or stroke of luck. Leonie has three degrees and has worked extremely hard to be where she is today.
She is also one of the most followed fashion bloggers on Instagram. Whenever is need some style inspiration or travel escapism, I know that I can get that from her Instagram feed.
Leonie Hanne frequently talks about the importance of having an education, confidence, and an opinion as a woman. She has written op-eds about the challenges of having a career as a woman and she hopes to continue using her voice for causes that she believes in. Fashion, style, brains, beauty, and change… Hanne has it all!
