Best Podcasts to Listen to on Spotify

As an avid podcast listener, I have put together a list of six of my favorite podcasts to listen to on Spotify in 2022!

One of my favorite things to do is get outside and go for a run or walk and turn on a new podcast episode. I find that it’s a great use of my time and I almost always walk away being so inspired and motivated, or sometimes I just need a laugh.

I’ve broken down my favorite podcasts to listen to below and linked a few of my favorite episodes to get you started!

1. The Morning Toast

Not a day goes by where I don’t listen to The Morning Toast. It’s my pop culture fix! Sisters Jackie and Claudia host this podcast from New York City and report on the top 5 pop culture stories of the day. They are constantly churning out episodes five days a week and this podcast has become a part of my daily routine.

If you’re looking for a good laugh and some celebrity gossip, tune into The Morning Toast Monday through Friday on Spotify!

2. How I Built This with Guy Raz

How I Built This is a fantastic entrepreneurial podcast hosted by Guy Raz and NPR. Hear from some of the most inspiring entrepreneurs like Sara Blakely, Kate Spade, Steve Madden, Bobbi Brown, and more on how they started their businesses.

This podcast covers countless different topics in the business world including a strong emphasis on overcoming obstacles and learning as you go.

As many of you know, I have my own handbag brand, Vogelle, and this podcast has helped me to keep going when I have hard or slow days. I find it extremely comforting to know that the entrepreneurs that I look up to have had their own struggles and often didn’t have any clue what they were doing while they were doing it.

If you’re looking for some motivation in the business world, definitely give this podcast a listen on Spotify.

3. Call Her Daddy

This might be a controversial one. I feel like people either love or hate Call Her Daddy.

I was never a huge fan of Call Her Daddy in the past. I thought it was pretty raunchy and intense and overall, it just wasn’t my vibe.

I’m not sure what made me revisit the podcast, but Alex’s recent interviews with Emily Ratajkowski, Alexis Ren, Amanda Knox, and Holly Madison have turned me into a listener. I’m a sucker for a juicy interview with interesting women and have loved listening to these episodes.

I still don’t listen to all of the Call Her Daddy episodes, but when I see an episode with a good guest, I find that Alex Cooper does a fantastic job interviewing people and asking the hard questions.

4. The Skinny Confidential

The Skinny Confidential Podcast has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts to listen to of all time. I love it for so many reasons. Lauren Bosstick started her blog called The Skinny Confidential in 2011 and built an incredibly engaged group of women based around wellness, beauty, and health.

Lauren and her husband, Michael, then launched The Skinny Confidential Podcast a few years later. The podcast is specifically titled the “Him and Her” podcast, because it is truly a podcast for men and women.

They have inspiring guests on the podcast that talk about finances, health, skin, beauty, entrepreneurship, brand building, mental wellness, and more. I love the diversity of their guests because there’s always an episode for me to listen to regardless of the mood I’m in.

Lauren and Michael also host solo podcasts where they talk about their careers and life tips. They are so inspiring as a couple and I love their solo podcasts just as much, if not more, than the guest episodes.

If you’re looking to get motivated, learn about other paths in life, and learn how to take the best care of yourself physically and emotionally, listen to the Skinny Confidential Podcast on Spotify!

5. Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain

Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain is my safe little corner of Spotify (besides Taylor Swift’s entire discography). Emma Chamberlain is relatable, funny, honest, and raw. I feel like I relate to her on so many levels. This is easily one of my favorite podcasts to listen to.

She released this “alone but not lonely” episode when I had just arrived to Milan, Italy for a month on my own and was having a bit of a panic. I even downloaded a handful of her episodes and listened to them on my long flights to and from Italy.

Emma is the influencer of our generation. Her podcast has peeled back many layers for us as an audience to get to know her, if that’s even possible. I feel like I’m at her house drinking coffee and having a long vent session with her when I listen to this podcast.

I’d classify this podcast as relaxing, comforting, awakening, and helpful.

6. Life with Marianna

I discovered this podcast through The Skinny Confidential podcast and am so happy I did!

Influencer and co-founder of Summer Fridays, Marianna Hewitt hosts this podcast and it’s full of motivational episodes and interviews.

Marianna has the best guests! Recently she’s had Jen Atkin, founder of Ouai Haircare and hairstylist to the celebrities, REVOLVE’s Chief Brand Officer, Raissa Gerona, influencer Tinx, Francesca Aiello, founder of Frankie’s Bikinis, and more. I literally bought Jen Atkin’s book because I couldn’t get enough of her episode with Marianna.

She also talks about manifesting, vision boards, and healthy habits in her solo episodes. I absolutely love this podcast and if you’re looking to be inspired by others in the fashion, beauty, and influencing space, look no further!
